Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Photo 1: Dropping a cornice section about the size of a refrigerator at noted lat/long produced no slab failure of any kind.

Photo 2: Settlement cones around trees on N aspect indicating 3+ inches of settlement by 11am.

Testpits dug on Hourglass Bowl at N 39.31886, W 119.92229 and on Proletariat Face at N 39.31603, W 119.91821 produced very repeatable moderate CT scores with Q3 shears and ECTN results. Very minor ongoing wind transport was not adding any significant additional load to N-NE-E aspects. Storm snow was very right side up with no evidence of instability observed in the area. Isolated pockets of wind slab along ridgelines were nonreactive to repeated ski cuts and ECT's.
