More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Photo: West winds wrapping around the north side of the peak had scoured N aspect avalanche start zones at 7,800' along the east ridge. Snow scoured down to the high density old snow surface prior to the March 5-6 snowfall. Rain up to 7,600' in this area on March 6.

Video: Wind transport over the north ridge just above the snowpit location.

Wet snow on all aspects below 7,500' by 11:30am. Free water present in the top 1 to 10cm of the snowpack depending on aspect.
