Northerly aspects and other shaded slopes in this area hold a shallow faceted snowpack, generally 10 to 25 cm deep. All areas are well anchored. There is more snow in the 7,200' to 8,000' range than above 8,000' due to wind scouring from the Dec 1 NE wind event.
