The snowpack in this area has finish refreezing following the recent rain on snow events. Continued faceting observed between the crusts at the top of the snowpack.

Aspects with a southerly component to them were melting, but only in areas of direct sun exposure and not in the shade. 1 to 2 inches of corn snow existed by 12:30pm up to the highpoint of travel in the area of 8,200'.
