More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Highly variable snowpack exists on all NW-NE terrain, where snow exists, especially after the NE winds from the weekend.  Pit dug 30m below ridgeline in a small gully with some wind effect and scouring, most areas higher up scoured down to the October ice layer, rock or dirt.  Whumping and collapsing of the snowpack occurred in wind protected areas, several pits dug when this occurred and found the Oct. ice layer with well developed facets on top.  Had consistent moderate range CT’s in these areas.
