Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Very localized shooting cracks in highly wind loaded terrain just below ridgeline.  Droped several cornices and ski cut some slopes with no propagation occuring.  The cornices are not built out on the ridges in this area yet and were not as effective in loading the slopes to test stability.  Lots of wind effect and texture on exposed ridges and open terrain.  I had some very easy stability test results that did not totally align with my informal observations throughout the day.  Overall, the storm snow is having a chance to gain strength today with a slight break in the weather but there was still a concern with the wind slab that formed
in upper steep exposed starting zones.
