More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Snow surface melt freeze crusts have formed on all aspects, north aspects have a very thin crust up to around 8500'.  Good freeze with mainly clear skis overnight.  A very thin layer of graupel, up to 3mm in size, fell last evening.  Surface hoar was observed above 9000', 3mm in size.  Storm snow instabilities showing some strengthing with ECT's and PST's showing propagation not likely.  Observations from N/NE aspects, solar aspects were not observed. 

Photos:  Several old slab avalanches thought to be from Friday.  Skier/rider triggered, N/NE aspect, 35-40 degrees.  Crowns up to 2' deep.
