More detailed information about the snowpack: 

High snow level observed at ~8000ft. Although snowfall at Elephant's Back was wet and heavy, it was still being transported by the stronger wind gusts.

Pit: The snow from our second storm is beginning to round. No faceting observed at this location. Informal observations on more northerly aspects also failed to show faceting near the surface in this area.
