More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Pit and video: Directly adjacent to shallow human triggered wind slab from 1/05. Although column tests had Sudden Planar character, ECTs did not propagate and PSTs did not show propogation potential.

Pic: Evidence of previous NE winds. Light NE winds again today, but no wind transport observed. Sastrugi along ridgelines and downslope on E/NE aspects into traditional start zones. Mid slope and lower still held ~15cm of yesterday's storm snow.

Minor skier initiated cracking (50cm long and less) on wind loaded steep W aspects along Frog Lake Ridge. Wind loading was localized to just below ridgetop.
