More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Observations made on the N and NW sides of Castle Peak revealed areas of significant continuous snow cover generally 15 to 30 cm deep (6 to 12 inches). Snowpack structure of surface melt-freeze crust over facets to ground level is very similar to other locations observed around the forecast area this past week.
