More detailed information about the snowpack:

Cloudy skies limited the amount of corn that formed in this area today. Only about 1 inch of soft snow existed on the SE-S-SW aspects up to 8100 ft. As in other places around the region, the corn rested on top of a stable and supportable snowpack consisting of layers of melt-freeze snow. The northerly aspects in this area held firm and frozen rain crusts that rested on top of a stable snowpack. Data indicated that the snowpack is in good shape to handle additional loading.
