More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Soft snow still remained on the N aspects in this area today. Any sun-exposed E-SE-S-SW aspect and even some of the NE aspects that received sun had a frozen surface or a breakable crust near the surface. Ski cuts on steep test slopes, hand pits, general observations, and snowpit data all indicated that the snowpack continues to settle and consolidate and no signs of instability were observed. Consistent cloud cover kept the typically sun-exposed aspects from warming up much today and no signs of wet snow instability were observed in this area.
