Slope had been repeatedly cut by skiers traversing to avoid direct descent through obstacles.  Avalanche appeared to carry snow from the 3/31-4/1 storm sliding on top of the last prior snowfall a couple of days earlier.  Crown was hard to assess from the bottom of the run, but not much over a foot and probably a bit less.  Avalanche widened as it came down--probably less than 20 feet at the top and definitely more than 20 feet toward the bottom.  Path is roughly in the center of the photo; crown is below the large rock face just below the ridgeline and debris field is left of the lowest visible rock outcrop a little right of center near the bottom of the photo.
