Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Snow cover on north side of Castle Pk/Basin Pk complex as viewed from Mt. Lola. Continuous snow cover exists in the 8,000' to 8,900' elevation band as seen in the photo. Peaks in right foreground are 8,400' to 8,500'. Based on Mt. Lola observations, snow depth likely 10 to 30 cm (4 to 12 inches).
