Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Similar to other areas around the forecast region, variable conditions existed on the Lincoln Ridge. Slopes exposed to the north and northeast winds held scoured surfaces and wind created features. Exposed near and above treeline N-NE aspects held firm, icy, supportable crusts. In more sheltered near and below treeline terrain, about 4 to 6 inches of soft unconsolidated snow existed above the supportable rain crust on the northerly aspects. Snowpit data continues to indicate that a weak layer could be forming below this rain crust and that the crust is eroding. Both of these things are happening very slowly. Below this rain crust/weak layer combo the snowpack remains strong and cohesive. We saw several settlement cracks around the base of trees.
