Snowpack in this area appears in good condition to handle new snow loading. Pit dug adjacent to pit from January 13. The snowpack in this area has rounded and gained strength in this area since that time. Precipitation had yet to reach the area upon departure at 11:30 am. Light precipitation was visible along the Sierra Crest from the summit.
