More detailed information about the avalanche: 

Natural avalanche that appeared to have occurred during the early morning hours on Feb 18. Crown was just below cornice feature on N ridge (photo 1). Crown was mostly filled in by wind transported snow on Feb 19, but the far climbers left edge of the crown was still visible from the ridgetop. Debris ran 400 vertical feet through the trees (photo 2). Debris piled on the uphill sides of trees was up to 3 feet tall.
