More detailed information about the avalanche: 

 Avalanche was seen on final approach to a prominent rise on the south ridge of Deep creek drainage, just West of where the summer road enters from Pole creek. Slide was most likely caused by wind loading during yesterday's snow event. Obvious signs of a small slide in the immediate slide path and a obvious crown linking rocks on the face. 

No signs of instability on the approach or during the rest of the day's tour. Snow pack did have a noticeable upper layer change/density above 8000' which made for interesting skinning.
