I ski cut the slope below the rocks and a dry wind slab approx. 1 foot deep propogated 25 feet across and slowly slid to the bottom of the slope. After the slide ran it's course I noticed a large deep shooting crack slightly above my stance. 

There was one other avalanche in the area that appeared to have occurred in the last 24 hours, just below a cornice on the North Aspect of Rose Knob's West to East ridge. Appeared to be 150 feet across and ran 300-400 feet on a 35-40 degree slope. Crown looked to be about 2 feet deep.

Winds were howling on the summit (75+ mph) however there were very few signs of new snow transport while on the mountain. Most snow was either in trapped in wind protected areas or already starting to slightly wind scour or crust. Temp was -2C at the time of the avalanche with little to no sun affect.
