More detailed information about the snowpack: 

The snowpit shown here was facing just east of north at 20 degrees. Another pit was dug just around the corner at direct NE that was 82 cm in depth with the following results: ECTP 20 SC at 5cm in the basal facets and ECTP 26 SC at 5cm in the basal facets.
