More detailed information about the snowpack: 

As expected, signs of E wind scouring were present in this area on N-NE-E aspects near treeline. Despite the scouring over the past 24 hours, additional snow remains available for wind transport. Areas of wind slab formation were noted on the lee side of various features, but displayed only very minor amounts of skier triggered cracking. Wind protected areas below treeline held settled recent storm snow. Signs of improving bonding were noted between the recent storm snow and the older near surface facets just below the recent storm snow.
