Fresh snow and wind transport on Trimmer

10-16" of new snow sitting on a loose uncosolidated layer, within the trees on Trimmer Peak

Below freezing temps, cloudy skis, heavy swirling winds, light snow at times.

Still plenty of hazards lurking below the surface, especially below 8500'.

About 10-16" of new snow was present over 8400'. Below this new snow, there was a layer of loose unconsolidated snow. Was able to trigger very small slides to this layer when making switchbacks on the skin track
