Natural Deep Slab on Jakes Peak

Deep slab avalanche occurred on Jakes Peak sometime in the March 2- March 4 time frame during or just after the storm cycle.  This avalanche was thought to be triggered naturally but is in a popular location for storm day skiing and could have also been remotely triggered from areas on this slope.  This avalanche was located below treeline around 7700', NE aspect, just below the mid bench near the normal skin track.  This was observed over a week after the avalanche occurred with considerable settlement in this area.
