  • Storm Slabs - Reported avalanches - Numerous natural and human triggered on March 1st and 2nd
  • Deep Slabs - Reported avalanches - Numerous natural on March 2nd, 0 human triggered
  • Loose Wet - Reported avalanches - 0 reported

 

  • Facet layer gets buried more deeply - up to 1.5 to 2 m
  • Upper pack consists of new storm snow and wind slabs by the end of the week. 

 

  • Unsettled weather during the weekend with several wind events from various directions and light snow
  • Winter storms on Monday (9-22 inches) and Wed-Friday (19 to 33 inches)
  • Gale force SW winds during the storms
