Less blowing snow in Incline Lake Peak area than on the Sierra Crest

We toured around the Incline Lake Peak area today and saw much less blowing snow than others who were in Sierra Crest locations today. Slide Mtn sensor reported wind speeds 30-40 mph with gusts 45-60 mph during our time on tour. We saw very limited amounts of blowing snow during this time. No new wind slab formation was seen in any of the above or below treeline areas we were able to travel or view. Some firm wind slabs created during the 12/18 wind event were visible near and above treeline with no signs of avalanche activity observed. Some minor wind effects were observed below treeline. For the most part, soft unconsolidated snow as found on out of the way wind protected northerly aspects below treeline.
