Judah snowpack obs

Targeted wind slabs on notherly facing slopes. We found multiple wind slabs above the 12/13 raincrust (35mm down) while digging multiple pits in the same location (NE of the Judah radar elevation 7800ft). We found both 4F and 1F wind slabs above the raincrust. Winds in the area were local and coming from all directions. Hand pits dug under Cornice Bowl - revealed 18cm 1F wind slabs with 4F soft snow underneathe with active windloading. 

Skiing - found few good turns in settled snow >7500ft on shaded, north facing aspects.
