Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions: 

Sunny day in the Blue Lakes area. Untracked snow remains cold and soft, but melting under trees accelerated during the day. No instabilties observed in our mostly below treeline ride. Small surface hoar was widely observed especially on shady micro features.
