Hope Valley lots of fresh and wind

Spent the night in Hope Valley and were rocked by the strong, gusty winds until early morning hours. We found about 36" of storm snow in the parking lot. It was light and very nice. Touring to Waterhouse from here we found very deep trailbreaking and insufficiently steep terrain at around 25-30 degrees. There was minimal wind effect below treeline, but the more sun exposed spots showed some crusting by around 1400. The new snow was stable on the low angle terrain but seemed like it would slough heavily if it were steeper. Wind through the day has been light with some gusts that continue to move snow.
