Wind effect on Trimmer Peak

We dug a pit 4 ft deep at about 8000 ft on a north facing slope of about 35 degrees. We observed a right side up snow pack with very consistent density increase from top to bottom. Above tree line we observed wind loading of varying depths, as well as wind scour to the ground surface. We skied the due north aspect and encountered fairly soft wind deposit high, then soft snow below. There was also adequate snow coverage at the lower elevations while exiting.
