Small windslab top of skin track of Corkscrew Bowl, Tallac

At the top of a skin track up "corkscrew bowl", a skier in a party ahead of us triggered a small avalanche at the ridge.  The crown looked to be 6" - 9" highwide, and at least 30 feet wide. The debris ran what looked like at least 100 feet below into the small trees below. It looked like it probably would not fully bury a person but could knock them off their feet.

From a local who had been there the day before, I heard there were clear signs of wind transport since the previous night. I'm not a tallac regular, but I got the impression that this is not the usual location for the skin track to the top of this ridge.

There was some signs of older debris from very small slides off the same ridge a little to the north. The peak of Tallac was shrouded in clouds, but surrounding areas had partly cloudy conditions when we started our tour. Clouds and winds were increasing during our time on the mountain.
