Hidden Peak Observations

Toured in the Hiden Peak area today and examined buried facets that were visited on 1/7/19 and 1/9/19 At the 7400 elevation we got ECTX results and PST END in the 90/100 range examining the buried facet layer. This represents a significant change from what was observed on 1/7. We dug another pit (see attached snow pit graph) at 7700 feet and found a deeper snow pack and more varied results. 

Surface Hoar was absent at lower elevations but was observed starting around 8000 feet. Size varied but was observed up to about 7 mm.
