Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions:

First 2 laps were nice cream cheese with 2-3" ski penetration. At around 1400 I went up for a 3rd, and on the top it was above freezing and misting rain. By mid-slope the snow had warmed to mashed potato consistency. Temp at the base was 4C. No instability noted, even in the bowl where I skied my second lap. Boot penetration was to mid thigh on the bootpack out...
