Slab release above Lower Echo Lake

At the end of a day of conservative tree skiing on the ridge east of Becker Peak, above Lower Echo Lake, a member of our party triggered a good-sized slide on a convex rollover just above the road across from the Echo Chalet at the east end of the lake. The slide seems to be an example of the "hybrid" wind/wet slabs mentioned in the 3/3 bulletin. The slab did not immediately slide after being triggered, and did not move very far down the slope, in part because of the road which interrupts the slope below the slide path.
