Snow transport at Kirkwood and signs of recent avalanches

Lots of people touring around at Kirkwood. The winds shifted this morning and were blowing moderately from the northeast and moving a good amount of snow up high and scouring North/northeast facing slopes and loading some of the northwest/west facing gullies. Got some moderate cracking of wind slabs in isolated areas down low. 

Snow was cold and powdery early, but as the sun came up and temps warmed, it was turning heavier and starting to get rollerballs and trigger small releases on steeper terrain. There was a good amount of evidence of both natural (cornice) avalanches and small D1 skier triggered avalanches. We stayed well below the ridges where it was scoured/windloaded and found nice snow in the sheltered trees. Finshed by 10am as conditions were getting warm and more unstable/less fun. 

Saw a D1-D2 skier triggered avalanche driving back by Elephants Hump. Phone died and wasn't able to get photo.
