Snow conditions from near Luther Pass

Rode East of 89 yesterday due to blue lakes road being closed (it was blocked off at the turn off from 88 and the Sheriff was patrolling). We found 1-2 feet of unconsolidated snow on top of a firm crust. We started our ride around 1130; snow had already become wet and warm from a few hours of strong April sunshine that morning. By around 3pm, clouds began to partially cover the sky and by 4pm it was lightly snowing. Our snowmobilers triggered many roller balls, but we did not see any signs of avalanche activity. We did not see obvious signs of wind loading in the sheltered area we rode, but we were able to see signs of it on distant peaks.
