Blowing Snow, New Wind Slabs on Tamarack Peak

Recognized ridgetop blowing snow immediately upon arrival in the Tamarack parking lot this morning at 5:45am. Winds were NE and had scoured most N and NE aspects down to previous rain crust by the time we arrived at the top of Hourglass at 7am. We also regonized obvious cross loading on E easpects (Proletariat). On small SSW test slopes near the Tamarack summit, we found very reactive wind slabs with shooting cracks and hollow-feeling snow. We avoided areas with obvious cross-loading (Proletariat bowl).
