Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions:

Our group did a observational pit profile in a meadow at the base of powder house at 7760' on a NE Aspect. We observed a facet layer 9cm down from the surface, Below theJan 4th rain crust, that didnt appear to have suffient load to cause propragation. CT tests showed a collapse at 9 cm down from the surface. Propragation test ( ECT and PST) showed negitive results. Other crusts and layers below did not show reactive results to pit tests.
