avalanche observed on Angora peak, multiple red flags

While skinning up the north side of Angora peak I got multiple  settlement whoops sometimes associated with shooting cracks. Observed though the trees a slide that appeared to be natural as there were no signs of anyone else in the area, pretty good sized debree chunks. I did not however go over to investigate to see how big it was and the trees obscured my view. Quick hand pits showed difficulty in even isolating a column. Down lower there was a hard crust layer that was hard to penetrate, but higher up under the new snow was a thinner rain crust with sugary snow underneath. Turned around at 7400 feet and retreated back to lake level
