Major warming at Rose Meadows

I headed back to the same area as yesterday and found that the snow has consolidated further. On E &SE aspects there was rollerball activity, and by 1500 the warm temps has impacted the snow. It was full on mank except for the pure N faces, but even they were starting to get sticky.

I did find the crust/facet layer about a foot down everywhere that I probed with a basket, and heard a distinct whumph on a NE aspect at about 7300'.
