Wind slab avalanche at Wildflower Ridge

Approaching Wildflower Ridge at Mount Judah it was obvious that the overnight snow and wind had loaded the small corniced bowl just leeward of the ridge (photo 1). Kicking at the inital small portion of the cornice I was able to get a few small blocks of cornice to break with some cracking, but no results on the loaded slope below. Once I was past the portion of the ridge that contains the cornice and steeper slopes below it I approached a lower angle but still obviously wind loaded slope. One kick at the rollover initated a wind slab avalanche. The slab was about 1 foot thick and ran down to the where the angle decreased (photo 2 -4). 

Avoiding other areas that were obviously wind loaded for the remainder of the day, I observed no other signs of wind slab instability. Many smaller leeward features had wind loaded snow 6-8" deep.
