Skier triggered avalanche on northeast bowl of powderhouse peak 3/15

Significant loading of new snow over two days. No significant activity noticed in first 3 laps on main north face. Skier triggered avalanche in lower angle terrain of drainage that had significant loading from steep slopes above. Fractured with ski cut, and released from the new/old snow interface. Skier not burried but injured due to impact on tree. Skier was able to ski out to trailhead and was treated at the hospital for minor injuries. No photos taken or measurements of crown due to necessity to locate skier and evacuate from site rapidly.
