Surface hoar on Tamarack

Toured up Tamarack from the north side today. Widspread surface hoar on all aspects in this area (the largest being on N aspects), particularly in open areas (and the skin track, old ski tracks, etc). We saw a bit of graupel as well on the surface in more treed, protected areas. Breakable MF crust around 1-2 inches thick on east aspects. Snow on N aspects had not been sun affected from the previous day, although a little crusty around old ski tracks. Calm and cold this morning, although we were only out until 9 AM. Driving up and down from the Reno side, there were also many loose wet slides (all point releases and rollerballs) from the past few days on steep road cuts on S and E facing aspects.
