Wind transport on the East Shore

Down in the trees, the storm snow has settled a bit and is supportable for snowmobile travel. Lots of settlement cones around trees. Test slopes did not produce results. The top 2ft of snow was still unconsolidated, and a few inches of additional snowfall occured throughout the day.

Along ridgetops, there was active wind transport today, but snowpack tests and test slopes were unremarkable. We avoided the most wind loaded terrain in this area since it has big avalanche exposure.
