Blowing Snow on Incline Lake Peak

We went to Incline Lake Peak to further monitor storm slabs and wind slabs that were reactive yesterday.  We went back to the location of a small storm slab avalanche that released yesterday to see if instabilities still exist.  Snowpack tests at the crown line and numerous ski cuts in this below treeline terrain showed no signs of unstable storm slabs aside from some minor cracking while skinning.  Strong SW winds were blowing snow along the upper ridgelines creating dense wind slabs and large reactive cornices.  Limited cracking occurred while ski cutting or dropping large cornice chunks on these wind loaded slopes.  Short periods of sun midday did start to warm the snow surface with a few small roller balls on SE aspects.
