NE wind effect below treeline on Incline Peak

We toured the NW reaches of Incline Peak today looking at snow surface conditions and the snowpack layering changes. Yesterday's NE winds affected northerly aspects near and below treeline in all but the most wind protected areas, generally low in the drainages.

Snowpit data collected on an upper elevation N aspect below treeline showed continued strengths gains, especially in the middle and lower portions of the snowpack. Dec 11 PWL appears dormant in this area but per the PST it is not entirely inactive.
