Bloods Ridge Pre Storm Evaluation

Evaluated the snowpack before this weeks large snow events.  Today's snowpit found a total depth of 98cm.  Conducted an shovel shear with no obvious result(STN). After very hard(!) pressure the enitre consolidated column did pull from the ground(bonded debris included). Also conducted an extended column test with no results(ECTX).  Biggest concern is the strength of rounding facets underneath the layer at 86cm after this weeks storm cycles added weight.

Side note: As we were leaving the snow pit, about 2cm of graupel fell. Something to keep an eye on with mother lode coming!
