Storm Snow on Chickadee Ridge N

Dug quick profile of recent storm snow down ~135cm. HS = 165cm, BP = 112cm, SP = 22cm. Crusts clearly visible down 114cm & 126cm. Slope angle at the observation site was ~18 degrees. Performed a single compression test with CTE9 down 10cm/SP, CTM12 down 35cm/SP and CTH26 down 100cm also SP. No observed fractures on either crust at 114cm or 126cm, though did not have time for a Deep Tap. Top 114cm of snow showed almost zero consolidation, as evidenced by boot pen, though slab-like characteristics were present. Skied terrain 20-25 degrees.
