Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions:

A small wind lab avalanche was intentionally triggered on a north facing test slope at about 8000 ft with recent wind loading around 11:45am. Several extended column tests around 2:45pm showed no propagation on similar wind loaded aspects and elevations. Solar warming was observed throughout the day. Wind was also continuing to transport snow throughout the day, though it decreased from AM to PM.
