Large presumably natural avalanche on Hiram Peak

Cloudy, with intermittent snow but little wind. Avalanche was observed from a nearby peak, about 2 miles away. We did not experience the actual event so do not know for sure what triggered it, other than an obvious layer along which it had propagated. There are snowmobile tracks in front, but not sure whether this had anything to do with it as they are still far away from the bowl. As such, we assume that the avalanche released naturally.
