Freel peak wind board

We toured Freel Peak Saturday 3/6/21. On the approach below 9k we observed up to 4" of powder and 1-2" windslab was occasionally present with cracks extending not more than 24". Above 9000, snow was severely wind affected from overnight gale force winds. We observed widespread knife hard 2" wind board, with occasional small pockets of "soft" snow. On and below the ridgeline, sastrugi was widespread. No signs of avalanche activity were observed.
